PNG to PDF - FAQs

Can I combine multiple PNGs into one PDF?

Yes. Add as many PNG files as you need, arrange them in the order you want, and click Convert. All images will be combined into a single downloadable PDF.

Are my PNG files uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never sent to any server and are not stored anywhere outside your device.

Can I reorder PNG images before creating the PDF?

Yes. Drag the thumbnails in the queue to set the page order you want before clicking Convert. The final queue order is the page order in the PDF.

Does PNG transparency stay transparent in the PDF?

It depends on your PDF viewer. PNG images may be embedded with their alpha channel, but whether transparent areas appear transparent, white, or otherwise depends on how your viewer renders the file. If the tool flattens transparency, transparent areas will appear on a white background.

Why is my PDF file large?

PDF file size reflects the resolution and size of the embedded PNG images. PNGs are lossless, so high-resolution files produce large PDFs. Try compressing your PNG files first with the Image Compressor tool, or use Compress PDF afterward.
